You will be able to select the service you need during the booking process.
If you are unsure, pick whichever sounds most appropriate. Most important is the number of tests; we'll figure out the rest.
Annual Test -Residential Individual
$130.00
Annual test of all Backflow Prevention Device(s) at your home. Includes submission of test report to your Water District. Does not include filing fees imposed by your Water District.
You can book up to four devices (all at the same address) in one appointment. Please be sure to apply the correct number of devices so we leave ourselves enough time.
The price is per device tested.
Annual Test -Self-Managed HOA (Manager)
$130.00
Annual test of all Backflow Prevention Device(s) at your small HOA's homes or condos. Includes submission of test report to your Water District. Does not include filing fees imposed by your Water District.
You can book up to nine devices (all at the same or neighboring addresses) in one appointment. Please be sure to apply the correct number of devices so we leave ourselves enough time.
The price is per device tested. Only one invoice will be sent per booking.
Annual Test -Commercial (incl. homes/ condos with nightly rentals)
Base Rate
$145.00
+ $25.00 per add'l. 1/2 Inch
Annual test of all Backflow Prevention Device(s) at your business or commercial property, including devices attached to Commercial Fire Suppression Systems.
Base Rate covers up to 2" diameter device. Larger devices: $25 for every additional 1/2 Inch will be added to your invoice.
Includes submission of test report to your Water District. Does not include filing fees imposed by your Water District.
You can book up to six devices (all at the same address) in one appointment. Please be sure to apply the correct number of devices so we can leave ourselves enough time.
The base rate is per device tested.
Initial Testing for Certificate of Occupancy
(residential properties)
$150.00
Initial test of new Backflow Prevention Device(s), as required for Final Inspection on new construction. Includes inspection for proper installation, location, orientation, and testing for functionality of device. Submission of test report to the Water District, as well as any additional required paperwork for the Building Department is also included. Does not include filing fees imposed by the Water District.
This visit is intended for inspection and testing of the device(s) only. If any extensive troubleshooting or repairs are required for a non-functioning device, we will have to schedule a return trip (details to be discussed). Repair and Re-Test fees may apply.
You can book up to four devices (all at the same address or neighboring properties) in one appointment. Please be sure to apply the correct number of devices so we can leave ourselves enough time.

Repair

Base cost includes diagnosis and repair of Backflow Prevention Device; up to one hour of labor. Additional time is billed at $150 per started hour. Trip Fees may apply.
Does not include parts.

Re-Test
$100
Re-Test of any Backflow Prevention Device following repair only (does not include test after replacement). Includes submission of test report to your Water District. Does not include filing fees imposed by your Water District.
Urgent Appointment
2x regular test price plus Trip Fee
Urgent testing of Backflow Prevention Device outside of regular business hours or when no suitable appointments are available. Trip Fees will apply.
Includes submission of test report to your Water District/paperwork for Building Department SAME DAY. Does not include filing fees imposed by your Water District.

other fees
Missed Appointment Fee: $85.00 per device to be tested
same-day cancellation, no access (homeowner or property management no-show, obstruction, missing key, wrong door code or address,...), etc.
Crawl Space/ Hazardous Access Fee: $30- $100 depending on situation; TBD on-site. Tester has the right to refuse test on-site if access is deemed too hazardous or confined.
Trip Fees: $1.00 per mile
